Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top left crossfold and some creases and minor wear on the foldlines. There was a tiny area of surface paper loss in the white background to the left of Rampling's head. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but the restorer did not touch up the slight surface paper loss described above (any restorer could easily touch up that area without re-backing the poster).
