An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Diane Ladd is an actress from the 1950s to the present. She is best remembered for her role as "Flo" in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film). She is the mother of actress Laura Dern (from when she was married to actor Bruce Dern). Some of her other movies include: The Reivers, Chinatown, Rambling Rose (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Wild At Heart (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and 28 Days. As of 2021, she is still alive at the age of 85! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Diane Ladd! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Also note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So it is an original still from , but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
