An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Laura, the classic 1944 Otto Preminger (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic love triangle crime film noir ("The story of a love that became the most fearful thing that ever happened to a woman!"; "Adapted from the novel by Vera Caspery"; about a detective investigating the death of a gorgeous woman, and he wishes he could have known her, and then it turns out she's not dead after all!) starring Gene Tierney (in the title role as Laura Hunt), Dana Andrews, Clifton Webb (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Vincent Price, Judith Anderson, and Lane Chandler NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card had blue dot stains scattered in the upper left in Andrews' jacket, a couple in his cheek, and in the upper part of the "L" to the left of his jacket and head. The card had pinholes, smudges, and a few small tears around the edges, with a diagonal crease in the top left corner extending into the dark background. Someone performed restoration to the above defects without backing the card, and they solely added two small pieces of tape to the back of the card. The card was in "good" condition prior to restoration. The card was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
