On the Motion Picture Screen!"; "Color by Technicolor, Wide Screen"; "Adapted from the original 'Disneyland' Television Productions") starring Fess Parker (in the title role as Davy Crockett), Buddy Ebsen, William Bakewell, Basil Ruysdael, Pat Hogan (as Chief Red Stick), Mike Mazurki, and Nick Cravat. Note that this was originally three episodes of the Disneyland TV series (more commonly known as "The Wonderful World of Disney"). A year after the three episodes aired, someone at Disney had the great idea to release the three as a feature film, and it was hugely successful, in spite of the fact that over half of the U.S. had seen the movie for free when it had aired on TV the year before! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had some smudges, stains, creases, and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
