An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Green Light, the 1937 Frank Borzage romantic medical doctor hospital melodrama ("The story that changed the lives of a million lovers!"; based on the novel by Lloyd C. Douglas; about a young doctor who takes the fall for the mistake of an elder doctor) starring Errol Flynn, Anita Louise, Margaret Lindsay, Sir Cedric Hardwicke, Walter Abel, and Henry O'Neill. Note that Warner Bros. was afraid of the subject matter of this movie, and given that Flynn was a great lover, they "sold" the movie with advertising that showed Flynn between pretty Anita Louise and pretty Margaret Lindsay, with the tagline "The story that changed the lives of a million lovers!", trying to make audiences think they were going to see a movie based on a romantic love triangle!

Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. The card has darkened far less than almost all Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period that we have seen. However, it had pinholes and tears around the edges, with paper loss in the top right blank corner and in the center of the bottom blank border, with some long creases in the bottom left and bottom right. Someone performed restoration to the border defects, without backing the card (using tape and glue from the reverse). You can still see clear signs of the border defects, but the card displays pretty well (see our images).
