An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Forty by Sixty Movie Poster (40x60; measures 40" x 60" [102 x 152 cm]) (Learn More) Black Caesar (also released as "Godfather of Harlem"), the 1973 Larry Cohen AIP New York black African American blaxploitation mobster action thriller ("Hail Caesar Godfather of Harlem!"; "...The Cat with .45 caliber Claws!"; "Written...by Larry Cohen") starring Fred Williamson, Minnie Gentry, Julius W. Harris, D'Urville Martin, Don Pedro Colley, Gloria Hendry, Art Lund, Val Avery, and Phillip Roye. Note that Larry Cohen had much success in TV in the 1960s, with many serious shows, including "The Defenders". In the early 1970s, he took a major shift in his writing focus, and he had great success with blaxploitation movies like "Black Caesar" and "Hell Up in Harlem", and then he shifted yet again in the early 1980s, directing and writing the "It's Alive" horror movies!
