An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Italian Locandina Movie Poster (measures approximately 13" x 27") (Learn More) Accattone (released in the U.S. in 1968 as "The Scrounger" and under the original title), the 1961 Pier Paolo Pasolini (his directorial debut!) Italian neo-realism pimp-and-his-prostitute romantic melodrama (about a pimp who lives off of a prostitute, but she is arrested, and he meets a beautiful innocent young female worker, and he wants to make her a prostitute as well, but he decides to try to reform and support her instead, with tragic consequences) starring Franco Citti (in the title role as Vittorio 'Accattone' Cataldi), Franca Pasut, Silvana Corsini, Paola Guidi, and Adriana Asti. Artist: Sandro Symeoni [sometimes misspelled as "Simeoni"] Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Italian movie! Also note that this Italian locandina measures approximately 13" x 27". Condition: very good. The poster was folded across the middle and there were two extra folds above and below the middle one. There were some tiny areas of surface paper loss on those folds and some minor border defects. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
