2 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Yankee Senor, the 1926 Emmett J. Flynn silent south-of-the-border family relationship romantic cowboy western ("A drama of conflict and romance in old Mexico"; "From the novel 'Conquistador' by Katharine Fullerton Gerould"; a wild story where Tom is the long lost half-American grandson of a rich Spanish rancher; he shows up and the grandfather's adopted son wants him out of the way!) starring Tom Mix (in the title role as Paul Wharton), Tony (billed as "and Tony, the Wonder Horse"), Margaret Livingston, Olive Borden, Alec B. Francis, Martha Mattox, and Francis McDonald. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Also, this was the only Tom Mix movie to be filmed in color (specifically, the fiesta scene was in 2-strip Technicolor).

Condition: fair to good. The card pictured at top has MANY specks of surface paper loss scattered throughout the card as well as smudges, scuffs and paper loss at upper center (please see our super-sized image). The card pictured below it is in much better condition and has some pinholes and smudges around the edges and slight smudging of the orange color on the cowboy at left (which appears to be a printing defect) but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition.
