An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Marlene Dietrich was a very popular German actress and singer from the 1920s through the 1950s! She started in German movies in the 1920s, and then got her big break in Josef von Sternberg's "The Blue Angel", which was made in both a German and an English version. That led to a series of wonderful movies with von Sternberg. Some of her other movies include: Destry Rides Again, Shanghai Express, The Scarlet Empress, A Foreign Affair, Morocco (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Blonde Venus, Touch of Evil, Witness for the Prosecution, and Judgment at Nuremberg. She passed away in 1992 at the age of 90.

Important Added Info: Note that the still code on this still corresponds to the code for "Blonde Venus" which was made in 1932. Yet the still is dated 1934, so it is extremely likely it was created in 1934 for the movie she was working on then, but they used an image from Blonde Venus. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm].

Condition: very good. There are some faint creases scattered in the still, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light.
