An Original 1929 Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Ungarische Rhapsodie (released in the U.S. in 1929 as "Hungarian Rhapsody") the 1928 Hanns Schwarz German silent romantic melodrama (about the life and loves of an impoverished Hungarian aristocrat) starring Lil Dagover, Willy Fritsch, Dita Parlo (she was a sexy German actress of the late 1920s who had great success in two French movies, "L'Atalante" in 1934 and "La Grande Illusion" in 1937; she came to the United States, and was going to be in Orson Welles' version of Joseph Conrad's "Heart of Darkness", but that movie fell through; she is idolized by Madonna!), Fritz Greiner, Giza Bathory, and Erich Kaiser-Titz. Note that this was one of the last silent German movies released in the U.S. before the coming of sound made that impractical. The movie was released in Germany by UFA, but in the U.S. by Paramount, who was UFA's partner at the time.

Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. There are stains in the right of the top border that slightly extend into the background. There are pinholes in the corners and in the center of the top border. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
