An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style B Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Bell, Book and Candle, the 1958 Richard Quine romantic witchcraft fantasy comedy ("Getting here is half the fun..."; "A bewitching comedy that casts an all-star spell!"; "From the play by John Van Druten") starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Kim Novak, Jack Lemmon, Ernie Kovacs, Hermione Gingold, Elsa Lanchester, and Janice Rule NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. There was a scuff mark in the background to the right of Lemmon's mouth, and some very minor creases and scuffs in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
