An Original Vintage Linenbacked World War II Poster (measures 12" x 17" [30 x 43 cm]) (Learn More)

When Are You Gonna Buy Your Victory Bonds?, the 1945 U.S. World War II (WWII) War Bonds poster encouraging people to purchase Victory Bonds, and featuring an image of a frowning baby. According to a postcard with this image, the baby is "Owen Murphy Jr. at 7 months old" who was discovered by publicist Ivan Black and "is a super salesman for Uncle Sam". Note that we have seen different designs and taglines with this image, and they were almost surely locally produced.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this World War II poster! It certainly does not appear to be government issue, but it certainly has a very striking image of an angry baby and the text has a "handwritten" look to it that makes it even cooler. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
