Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Soundtrack Record (measures 12 1/2" x 12 1/2") (Learn More)

G.I. Blues (GI Blues), the 1960 Norman Taurog rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) Army military romantic musical comedy ("Swing out and sound off with Elvis Presley in the red, white and blue star-bright show of the year!"; "Elvis scores... A singing triumph... And a romantic hit!"; "Written by Edmund Beloin and Henry Garson") starring Elvis Presley, Juliet Prowse, Robert Ivers, James Douglas, and Leticia Roman. Note that Elvis, unlike the vast majority of stars from the 1950s on, did not attempt to get out of his military service, and he went in to the army in 1958 (at the height of his popularity) and he got out two years later, and this was the first movie he made after returning (and naturally, he made a fictionalized version of his life in the military).

Important Added Info: We are not record dealers ordinarily, but we were given a group of records to sell (most of which are movie soundtrack albums). Please forgive us for not knowing the terminology record collectors use to describe condition of albums. Generally, these albums are in "very good" condition, and they show signs of having been handled (they are far from "mint"). If there are significant defects to the jacket or record, we noted those below. Otherwise, Please assume that they are in average used condition (the image below of the cover should help you determine the general condition), that there is the original sleeve in very good condition, and that the record appears to be unscratched (we have no record player to confirm they play well). PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THESE RECORDS! Either bid on the information and image provided, or do not bid at all! However, all records are returnable, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Condition: very good. The jacket has only minimal defects (minor scuffing on the front and back of the jacket, most in background areas) and the record appears to be in excellent condition!
