An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Edward Everett Horton was a stage actor for 17 years, and he was 36 years old when he became a movie actor in the 1920s. He started with leading roles, but he soon became one of Hollywood's foremost character actors. He was best known for his work in Arsenic and Old Lace, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Top Hat, Lost Horizon, Holiday, Trouble in Paradise, Pocketful of Miracles, and many others. He had a second career many years later doing voiceovers, including many on TV's "The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle". Horton passed away in 1970 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Edward Everett Horton! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer in 2003. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: fair.
