One Great Master"; an epic story about legendary martial arts master Ip Man, who is best known in the West as the man who trained Bruce Lee at one time, but there is much more to his story, and this movie, which famous arthouse director Kar-Wai Wong worked on for 12 years, attempted to tell this master's story) starring Ziyi Zhang, Tony Chiu Wai Leung (as Ip Man), Hye-kyo Song, Cung Le, and Chen Chang Artist: Monsieur X Important Added Info: Note that this is a special group of 4 French posters that were printed in a very limited number (60 to 80 sets) specifically for use at the Cannes Film Festival. Each measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/4" and is printed on a heavy gold or silver paper stock, which is very striking in person! They were auctioned in 2017 and now that very same set or group has been reconsigned to us for this auction, so they are still the only examples of these posters we have ever seen! The posters have an aged look to them, but that is intentional, because the backs of the posters are pure white. Note that while these posters possibly could be rolled in a tube, we would much prefer to send them in a large flat package, and we will only roll them if the new buyer insists, and then they would not be returnable. Please bear in mind the cost of this very large flat package before bidding on these posters. Condition: very good. The posters were never folded. Each has creases in two corners, the extent of which varies from poster to poster. There are a few creases scattered in the images.
