An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Speakeasy, the 1929 Benjamin Stoloff romantic boxing Prohibition era melodrama ("New York City talks"; "100% Dialogue Fox Movietone Melodrama"; despite its name, this movie is much more of a boxing movie than a Prohibition era movie; the plot concerns a boxer who loses his title, and he starts hanging out in a speakeasy, and then a pretty young newspaper reporter meets him, and discovers that his crooked manager caused him to lose the title, and with her help, he gets a rematch, and regains the middleweight championship belt) starring Paul Page, Lola Lane, Henry B. Walthall, Helen Ware, Sharon Lynn, Warren Hymer, and John Wayne (only 22 years old, in a bit part). Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
