The Oldest Profession"; "From the stone age to the space age."; "An adult affair in luscious color"; the movie consisted of six segments, each one directed by a different director, purporting to show amusing moments in the history of prostitution) starring Jeanne Moreau, Elsa Martinelli, Michele Mercier, Nadia Gray, Anna Karina, Raquel Welch, Martin Held, France Anglade, Marilu Tolo, Jean-Claude Brialy, and Jacques Charrier. Note that when this movie was first released in Europe equal attention was given to the various sexy stars of each of the six segments. But when it was released in the U.S. the following year, all of the attention was focused on sexy Raquel Welch! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This Japanese poster measures 20" x 28 1/2" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfold and minor wear along the foldlines. There were some creases and scuff lines going through the top and bottom of the image. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can still see the creases and scuff lines (although they were minimized by linenbacking, and are not very distracting). Learn More about condition grades
