Date Sold 9/15/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 6 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Help One Another, the 1924 Fred Guiol silent screwball Pathecomedy family relationship slapstick comedy short ("Hal Roach presents The Spat Family"; sixth in the "Spat Family" series of shorts) starring Frank Butler, Laura Roessing, and Sidney D'Albrook. Note that this was a series of 24 comedy shorts that were released monthly between 1923 and 1925. Each centered on the dysfunctional relationship of fussy "J. Tewksberry Spat", his combative wife, and her crude brother who lived with them and made the husband's life miserable! Note that this film is believed to be almost completely lost (only a small fragment survives). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this a very rare group of lobby cards for this movie (we have never auctioned any lobby cards for this title in all of our years of auctioning!) The only other item we have auctioned from this movie is a one-sheet that we were consigned that was in similar condition to these cards (the same person consigned the cards and the poster). Otherwise we have never auctioned anything else from this movie. Condition: poor to fair. All of the cards have varying amounts of of staining, with some defects around the edges on some of the cards. Obviously the cards can be restored, but bear this in mind before bidding. Also, the staining may include mold or mildew, so we have sealed the cards in their own bag and will send them to the winning bidder that way, and we advise the winning bidder to keep them sealed until they can be sent to a restorer who can remove the mold and mildew from the cards.
