Like many actors, he worked for many years in films before achieving much success, but unlike most actors, he started as a character actor, and his sheer talent made him a leading man many years later! Some of his movies include: The Odd Couple, Sunshine Boys (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Kotch (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Fortune Cookie (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), A Face in the Crowd, Charade, Fail-Safe, and The Bad News Bears. He passed away in 2000 at the age of 79 AND Carol Burnett is an actress and comedienne from the 1950s to the present. She has appeared in a few movies over the years, but she is best remembered for her long-running TV series, "The Carol Burnett Show". As of 2021, she is still alive at the age of 87! Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Walter Matthau AND Carol Burnett! We have no idea what the origin of this wacky montage is (which was surely fan created). Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signatures to likely be authentic. Also note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
