An Undated (probably 1944) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) The Wedding Night, the 1935 King Vidor romantic arranged marriage love triangle marriage melodrama (from the story by Edwin H. Knopf) starring Gary Cooper, Anna Sten, Ralph Bellamy, Helen Vinson, Sig Ruman (billed as "Siegfried Rumann") and Walter Brennan. Note that Samuel Goldwyn saw Anna Sten in a German movie, and thought she could become another Greta Garbo or Marlene Dietrich, and he signed her to a Hollywood contract, not knowing she could not speak English! After a year of intensive English studying, Goldwyn cast her as the lead in "Nana", but the movie was not very successful, and Goldwyn made two more movies with her (including this one), but then gave up! Most insert posters were folded twice horizontally right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded copy of most inserts, especially from before 1970!
