An Original Vintage Campaign Book (measures 9 1/2" x 11 1/4" [24 x 29 cm]; 12 pages) (Learn More) Paramount 1937, the 1937 campaign book ("It pays to play Paramount!"), which was published on March 10, 1937, which gave information and color ads for later 1937 planned movies. In addition, Paramount had published a different book late in 1936 promoting their late 1936 movies and their early 1937 movies. We don't know if these two books were in addition to a regular 1936-1937 book, or if they took the place of that book, because we have never seen that book. This book has ads for upcoming movies and also images of Paramount's stars, including Gary Cooper, Irene Dunne, Marlene Dietrich, and Fredric March in movies like Souls at Sea, High, Wide and Handsome, Angel, and The Buccaneer.
