Whiteney Picture"; based on the novel by Alan Le May) starring John Wayne (as Ethan Edwards), Jeffrey Hunter, Vera Miles, Ward Bond, Natalie Wood, John Qualen, Olive Carey, Henry Brandon, Hank Worden, Robert Lyden, Walter Coy, Pippa Scott, Lana Wood, Dorothy Jordan, Beulah Archuletta, and Dorothy Jordan NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good. There were pinholes around the edges of the poster and a very few scattered in the image. The poster had minor wear along the foldlines and a tiny hole in the right of the bottom foldline (in the blank white area below the "A" of "SEARCHERS"). The poster was quite nicely restored, and you can only see signs of the restoration from inches away! Learn More about condition grades
