An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Errol Flynn was one of Hollywood's leading action stars of the late 1930s and 1940s. Though his private life contained sexual scandals (most famously his statutory rape trial, in which he was acquitted and which gave the world the phrase "In like Flynn"!), he is best remembered by movie buffs for his roles in great Warner Bros. pictures like: The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Sea Hawk, Captain Blood, Gentleman Jim, and many more classics! He passed away in 1959 at the age of 50. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Errol Flynn! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm], but it has not been trimmed. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good to very good. The signature is partially faded unevenly and there are some light scuffs scattered in the emulsion, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light.
