His only refuge was in a woman's heart!"; "From a Story by William Bowers and Andre de Toth"; about a champion gunfighter who returns to the town where his wife and son are, in the hopes of reuniting with them and "going straight", but circumstances beyond his control prevent that from happening) starring Gregory Peck (as Jimmy Ringo), Helen Westcott, Millard Mitchell, Jean Parker, Karl Malden, Skip Homeier, Anthony Ross, Verna Felton, Ellen Corby, and Richard Jaeckel. Note that some key book stills for this movie have the title entered as "The Gun Fighter". We don't know if this was an early working title, or if it was just a case of someone making a mistake! The title card has paper loss in the upper center that has been repaired with tape from the back, and card #8 has a tear in the upper edge that also has been repaired with tape from the back. Several cards have a faint water stain in the lower left corner, and pinholes in the upper center, and a few cards have pieces of tape in the edges (not put there for any restoration purpose).
