An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (measures 14" x 15 1/2"; 4 pages) (Learn More) The Snorkel, the 1958 Guy Green English Hammer scuba diving skin diving underwater crime suspense murder thriller ("Teenage Girl vs. Killer-With-A-Gimmick!"; "Which bathing beauty will be the next victim of the Snorkel-Killer?"; "From 'The Snorkel' by Anthony Dawson") starring Peter Van Eyck, Betta St. John, Mandy Miller, Gregoire Aslan ("as The Inspector") and Henri Vidon. Note that Mandy Miller (born Carmen Isabella Miller) was an English child actress of the 1950s. She had her first role in "The Man in the White Suit" when she was 6 years old, and then she became quite popular as a child actress in depressing family melodramas in the 1950s in England. But when she turned 18, she quit show business forever, first becoming an au pair in New York City, and then marrying an architect and having three children. It has significant defects, such as tears, stains, smudges, and small areas of paper loss around the edges. However, important to note that it is complete and UNCUT, which is unusual, since the purpose of pressbooks was for theaters to cut out one or more of the ads and use them in their local newspapers. It has been folded in half horizontally, which is typical of almost all larger pressbooks. Oversized pressbooks were usually folded in half so that they could be more easily transported.
