An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Gladys Swarthout was a Metropolitan Opera singer in the 1930s. After fellow opera singer Grace Moore had success making movies at Columbia, Paramount signed Swarthout to make five movies for them! Some of her movies include: Champagne Waltz, Give Us This Night, Rose of the Rancho, and Ambush. After retiring from films, she appeared in several TV shows in the 1950s. Swarthout passed away in 1969 at the age of 71. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: very good.
