An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Powdersmoke Range, the 1935 Wallace Fox cowboy western ("Barnum and Bailey of Westerns") starring Harry Carey Sr., Hoot Gibson, "the screen's greatest round-up of western stars.." Boots Mallory (a pretty young lady who had appeared in the Ziegfeld Follies, but she only appeared in ten movies in the 1930s; she gained notoriety for posing for lingerie photographs and for being painted nude by Rolf Armstrong; one of her early movies was with James Cagney, and she married his brother William, and was later married to Herbert Marshall), Bob Steele, Tom Tyler, Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams, William Farnum, William Desmond, 'Buzz' Barton, Hal Taliaferro (billed as "Wally Wales"), Art Mix, Buffalo Bill Jr., Buddy Roosevelt, Franklyn Farnum, Sam Hardy, and Ray Mayer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images). Learn More about condition grades
