Somewhat daring, somewhat different, somewhat delicious... "; "which Boccaccio might have included in his 'Decameron' for understanding audiences of 1970."; "Vittorio De Sica directs Academy Award Winner Sophia Loren"; "Federico Fellini directs Anita Ekberg"; "Luchino Visconti directs Romy Schneider"; "'The Raffle', 'The Temptation of Dr. Antonio', 'The Job'") starring Sophia Loren, Anita Ekberg, Romy Schneider, Peppino DeFilippo, Tomas Milian, Romolo Valli, and Alfio Vita. The three sections in the U.S. version of this movie are: "The Raffle", "The Temptation of Dr. Antonio", and "The Job", but actually, the original Italian version has 4 parts, with the 4th being "Renzo & Luciana" directed by Mario Monicelli. When the movie was released in the U.S. and Germany, Monicelli's contribution was deleted, likely because the film ran too long and because he was not known outside of Italy. So the original Italian posters show four directors in director chairs, while the U.S. and German posters only show three! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills. NOTE: On rare occasions, large lots of 9 or more black-and-white stills like this one can sometimes have one or more duplicated stills, but since we only picture 8 of the stills, if there are duplicates, they are likely not pictured.
