An Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked British Quad Movie Poster (measures 30" x 40") (Learn More) A Hard Day's Night (released in some countries as "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah"), the classic 1964 Richard Lester English rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) musical adventure screwball comedy ("The Greatest Rock & Roll Comedy Adventure"; "The Beatles in their first full-length, hilarious, action-packed film!"; "6 Brand New Songs Plus Your Beatles Favorites!") starring The Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr), Wilfrid Brambell, Norman Rossington, John Junkin, Victor Spinetti, and Anna Quayle NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been paperbacked. This means the poster was backed onto a heavy paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, and window cards. The advantage of paperbacking a one-sheet or British Quad is that it still feels very much like an unbacked poster, but the slight disadvantage is that it is more fragile than if it were linenbacked. Condition: very good. prior to restoration, the poster had tiny areas of paper loss across the middle foldline, some small areas of paper loss at some crossfolds, and some small tears and creases on several foldlines; the top 1" of the poster was folded back at one time, and there were some tears and small areas of paper loss along this foldline. The above defects were greatly minimized during the restoration process. The poster was restored in the way that I much prefer, where only the defects were repaired, and the rest of the poster was left alone. You can still see signs of the restoration from close up, but from any distance away, the poster looks great and there is not a lot of paint anywhere on the poster! Learn More about condition grades
