An expertly linenbacked poster will often appear "mint", as its defects have been made to "vanish". We are the only seller we are aware of who always tries to describe the condition of the poster prior to being linenbacked, so you are fully aware of what restoration was performed. If you are not knowledgeable about restoration, Click HERE to learn about linenbacking. Condition: good to very good. The entire poster darkened prior to backing and the restorer did not bleach it. There were border chips in all the blank corners and in the bottom center blank border, and a piece of brown tape at the lower left that the restorer did nothing to repair. It appears the poster has had next-to-no restoration. Whoever restored this poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges. Also, the restorer used a thinner than normal linen to back the poster with. If I owned this poster, I would certainly have it re-backed, and I think a talented restorer could make it appear "mint on linen". Learn More about condition grades
