An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Our Gang was a long-running series of kids movies, started in 1922 by Hal Roach, and continuing for the next 20 years, with an ever changing cast (as the kids grew too old!). Among the best remembered cast members were George 'Spanky' McFarland, Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer, Scotty Beckett (who later played the young Al Jolson in "The Jolson Story"), Billie 'Buckwheat' Thomas, Stymie Beard, Darla Hood, Sunshine Sammy Morrison, Jackie Cooper, and many others! Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by THREE people: Joe Cobb, Jay R. Smith, AND Peggy Ahern! Our consignor is a decades long collector of comedy related movie paper. Over the years he would attend collectible shows where comedy celebrities appeared (including the child stars who appeared as adults), and he would purchase autographs from them in person. He also collected a few autographs by buying them from collectors or dealers through the mail, but all of them were obtained many years ago, and both he (and we) believe the autograph on this item to surely be authentic.
