An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) World Premiere, the 1941 Ted Tetzlaff movie-making publicity man screwball comedy (a wacky story about a producer of a movie who wants to create publicity for it, and he has three men pose as spies, disrupting the opening, but there are actual spies also present) starring John Barrymore, Frances Farmer, Eugene Pallette, Virginia Dale, Ricardo Cortez, Don Castle, Fritz Feld, Sig Ruman, and Luis Alberni NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss and tiny tears on parts of the folds, with staple holes around the edges and some scattered throughout the image. It had small paper loss in the top right blank corner. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
