An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) James Oliver Curwood's Yukon Vengeance, the 1954 William Beaudine Canadian Royal Mounted Police Mountie cowboy western ("Claw and fang...in savage death struggle!"; "Indian death drums beat for revenge!"; "Call of the Wilderness... Northwest rings with relentless Mountie revenge!"; based on the James Oliver Curwood story) starring Kirby Grant, Monte Hale, Mary Ellen Kay, Henry Kulky, and "Chinook The Wonder Dog". Note that Chinook the Wonder Dog was a white dog that looked like a cross between a Siberian Husky and a German Shepherd, and he appeared in ten movies between 1949 and 1954, all set in the Yukon. We were unable to find out why Chinook's career ended so suddenly, but perhaps he had substance abuse problems or some other problem! Condition: very good. 1" of separation in the bottom crossfold; small ink pad stamp on the back bleeds through to the front slightly in the title area at lower center; minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so along the foldlines); poster was oddly folded with the vertical foldline off-center a bit resulting in a 1/2" "lip" when the poster is folded Learn More about condition grades
