An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Letter of Introduction, the 1938 John M. Stahl family relationship father/daughter comedy melodrama ("Introducing... a truly great picture"; "Based on an original story by Bernice Boone"; about an older star actor who learns through a letter from his long ago ex-wife that he has an adult daughter he never met, and he starts a relationship with her, but he is reluctant to reveal their true relationship, which causes problems for him and his girlfriend, and his daughter and her boyfriend) starring Adolphe Menjou, Andrea Leeds, Edgar Bergen and "Charlie McCarthy" (with Mortimer Snerd), George Murphy, Rita Johnson, Ann Sheridan, Eve Arden, and Ernest Cossart. Note that Edgar Bergen played a ventriloquist friend of the long lost daughter, which should have been a pretty minor role, because it had nothing to do with the plot, but they provided all of the comedy in this movie, and they were played up very strongly in the advertising, especially Charlie McCarthy! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this card has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
