Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was folded an extra time and there were many creases, smudges, and scuffs on all the foldlines with some tiny paper loss at crossfolds and some creases and scuffs scattered through the poster. There were some tears, stains, and areas of paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
