Green silent family relationship value-of-money romantic melodrama (based on the story "by Ben Ames Williams"; about a rich man who has a son without purpose, but then when the father and son are driving, the son almost runs over a blind man, who curses the son, saying "I hope you will get everything you want", and later the father asks the blind man what that meant, and the blind man says that when you have everything, nothing has any meaning, and the rich man sets out to make the prophecy come true by giving his son absolutely anything he wants, including a beautiful girlfriend, and against all odds, it works, and the son reforms) starring Jack Pickford, Lionel Belmore, Priscilla Bonner, Shannon Day, and Alec B. Francis NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this pressbook! It is one of the very first pressbooks, and it doesn't look like later ones, and in fact, it refers to itself as a "campaign book", which was an early name for a pressbook. Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners received pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut! Condition: very good to fine, NO CUTS. The pressbook is complete and uncut. Learn More about condition grades
