An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) a 1930s cowboy western stock poster ("The great Buck Jones"; "The mighty ace of action stars"; "His newest thrill-a-minute action picture") created by Universal Pictures for use by theaters showing Buck Jones movies. Theaters would order this poster which had a large blank area, and sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, and sometimes they were sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, thus getting many posters for the price of one. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: poor. The card is completely separated down the left 1 1/2" and also across the center of the card. There is also a large portion separated in the lower right and a smaller portion separated in the lower left. There is surface paper loss and staining scattered in the image and there are nail holes and stains around the edges. The poster is in urgent need of expert professional restoration.
