The Sons of the Pioneers, the 1942 Joseph Kane singing cowboy western musical ("Based on an original story by Mauri Grashin and Robert T. Shannon") starring Roy Rogers, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Maris Wrixon, Bob Nolan and The Sons of the Pioneers, and Trigger (who was not yet billed on first release posters in this early Roy Rogers film). Note that The Sons of the Pioneers were a popular singing group who appeared in many Roy Rogers westerns, but this movie was named after them!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss at the top crossfold, in the girl's hair, and tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds. It had pretty minor wear on the folds. It had pinholes, tears, and tiny paper loss around the edges, with paper loss under the "S" of "ROGERS" at bottom right. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was backed with no restoration at all (see our image). Another restorer could perform restoration to this, either with or without re-backing the poster.
