(Learn More) The Matrix, the 1999 Andy Wachowski & Larry Wachowski (billed as "The Wachowski Brothers") U.S./Australian computers-take-over-the-world science fiction (sci-fi) dystopian future fantasy action adventure thriller ("Be Afraid of the Future"; "Free your mind."; "Believe the unbelievable") starring Keanu Reeves (as Neo), Laurence Fishburne (as Morpheus), Carrie-Anne Moss (as Trinity), Hugo Weaving (as Agent Smith), Joe Pantoliano (as Cypher), and Gloria Foster (as the Oracle). Note that since this film was made, both of the Wachowski siblings have become openly transgender women. However, they were known as the "The Wachowski Brothers" when this film was released, and we refer to them as such in this description. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and eight of the stills (less than eight if the presskit has less than eight stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN EIGHT OF THEM (and we pretty much picked eight stills at random). Condition: very good to fine. Many of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are in really excellent condition.
