An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Man Hunters of the Caribbean (also known as "Manhunters of the Caribbean" and "Beyond the Caribbean"), the 1938 Andre Roosevelt & Ewing Scott tropical island jungle safari murder mystery adventure thriller ("Death-defying adventures in an unexplored jungle"; about a woman who learns that her father was killed on a Caribbean island under mysterious circumstances by a native tribe, and she enlists the famous explorer, Andre Roosevelt, to go with her and her fiance to the island to solve her father's murder, and after many adventures, they find a fabulous treasure!) starring Andre Roosevelt (as himself!), Carol Jeffries, and E. Erskine Loch. Note that one of the lobby cards shows a wild image of natives crucifying a man in a voodoo ritual, plus there is border art of a panther and a leopard fighting, plus art of a native diver fighting with a man in a diving suit underwater, which certainly makes us want to know more about the movie! We were able to discover that the movie had been in production for over two years before it was finally released in 1938 (perhaps because the location filming in the Caribbean, and the jungle scenes and the underwater sequences took a long time to film). IMDB lists this film as being released in 1936 with a re-edited version being released in 1938. However, the Turner Classic Movie database lists this film solely as a 1938 film. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. There is a light partial horizontal crease across the center of the card. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card!
