Maidens! Merriment!") starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Marilyn Maxwell, John Conte, Douglass Dumbrille, Jimmy Dorsey & His Orchestra, and Lock Martin (billed as "J. Lockhard Martin"; in his film debut). Note that Martin was a giant at 7' 4" (some reports suggest 7' 7"!), and he later also played "Gort" in "The Day the Earth Stood Still", before passing away in 1959 at the age of 42. Important Added Info: Note that these lobby cards were printed in the United States for use at theaters with Spanish speaking audiences (this was done most by MGM, starting in the 1930s, but it was done by the other major studios as well, and often the posters would have the exact same image as the English language poster, except the writing would be in Spanish, and on posters from the 1930s and 1940s there would be an added "Toda en Espanol!", meaning "Entirely in Spanish!", printed within the image). Sometimes posters from the 1960s or later will have the word "SPANISH" printed in the bottom border (or sometimes stamped on the back of the poster). Condition: fair to good. Each has darkened and has surface stains as well as paint stains around the edges. Each has many pinholes around the edges and creases, smudges, and scuffs scattered throughout. The lower edge of each was folded back at one time and some have areas of paper loss.
