Basil Gogos was an Egyptian-born Greek illustrator from the 1960s to the 2000s. He is best known for his portraits of movie monsters which appeared on the covers of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine in the 1960s and 1970s. He passed away in 2017 at the age of 88.
