Some of his movies include: Dr. Strangelove, Patton (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role as General Patton; Scott refused the award, stating he didn't feel himself to be in competition with other actors!), The Hustler, and Anatomy of a Murder. Scott passed away in 1999 at the age of 71. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by George C. Scott! Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. It is printed on a heavyweight deluxe paper. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1970s on. He purchased the signed photos that were in the inventory of a long running memorabilia store, and he has consigned a number of them to us, and we are auctioning them here, including this item. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
