See its amazing renovation! See the city of glass! See humans living underground! See the gigantic space gun for the first flight to the moon! See man's substitute for the sun! See civilization as we know it today laughed at by our great-grandchildren! Important Added Info: Note that this poster comes with a "certificate of authenticity" that certifies that the poster came from the collection of Forrest J. Ackerman. The certificate is initialed by Mr. Ackerman and dated 8-5-2002. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had creases along the foldlines. There were tape stains on the back of the poster, along the top of the left border, across the top of the poster, and in the center of the bottom border that slightly bled through to the front. There was a long diagonal crease in the top right of the image. The person who linenbacked the poster pretty much just left it as is, but the defects are not particularly distracting.
