An Original Vintage Czech Campaign Book (measures 12 1/2" x 18 3/4" [32 x 48 cm]; 24 pages) (Learn More) Emco-Film 1930-31, the 1930 Czechoslovakian campaign book (with a tagline that translates to "Always in first place") featuring images and information about upcoming movies produced by Warner Bros. & First National that were distributed in Czechoslovakia by Emco-Film. Some of the films include: Song of the Flame, Say It With Song, The Jazz Singer, and Rin Tin Tin movies. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Czechoslovakian campaign book! We are currently auctioning another Czech campaign book (from Monopolfilm 1924-25) in a separate auction. Czech campaign books are surely far more rare than ones from other countries (the only other one we have previously auctioned was from Paramount 1929-1930, and until we were consigned that, we did not even know that Czechoslovakia had enough of a film industry in the 1920s to justify getting their own campaign book, but apparently they did, at least between 1924 and 1931)! Condition: good to very good. This very large campaign book was folded across the middle. There are many light smudges and stains on the covers, and there is surface paper loss on the fold on the back cover. There is a small piece of tape on the center of the back cover, with some tears and tiny paper loss around the edges of the back cover.
