Note that this was the last of Fred Astaire's musicals before he announced his retirement! He had been performing on stage with his sister since the age of 5, and he was now 44. But surprisingly, after he opened a series of Fred Astaire dance studios and had some cameo roles, he "un-retired", and did ten more musicals between 1947 and 1957!
