Great New Tunes! Picked by the Disk Jockeys Themselves!"; "Warner Bros.' great big JAMBOREE"; "A fast-spinning love story behind the scenes of today's brand new kind of Tin Pan Alley!"; "The Wonderful Picture with Top Stars, Great New Tunes, Picked by the Disk Jockeys Themselves!"; "Top disk-jockeys pick stars, songs in Warner Bros.' big story of the music world...") starring Fats Domino, Buddy Knox, Jerry Lee Lewis, Charlie Gracie, Jimmy Bowen, the Four Coins ("and lots, lots more!"), The Count Basie Orchestra (billed as "The Great Count Basie Orchestra with Joe Williams"), ("Featuring") Jodie Sands, Carl Perkins, Slim Whitman, Dick Clark, Lewis Lymon and the Teenchords, Ron Coby, Connie Francis, Andy Martin, Rocco and his Saints, Frankie Avalon, and Don Wilson. What an amazing cast, and many of them are pictured on the poster (including Jerry Lee Lewis at the piano)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that they WERE printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So they are original stills from 1957, but they were printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
