She started in the late 1930s, and became a star in the 1940s, and at an age when many other actress' careers started to fade, she continued strong, and had some of her best roles in the 1940s, including her Best Actress Oscar-winning performance in I'll Cry Tomorrow. Some of her movies include: I Want to Live!, Valley of the Dolls, The Conqueror, and Beau Geste. Sadly, she passed away in 1975 from cancer, and she was only 57. AND Virginia Dale was an actress from the 1930s to the 1950s. Some of her movies include: Kiss the Boys Goodbye, Holiday Inn, and Dragnet AND Judith Barrett was an actress from the 1920s to the 1940s. She was born in tiny Venus, Texas, and the studio first advertised her as "The Venus from Venus, Texas"!
