Howard silent romantic cowboy western melodrama (based on the novel by Zane Grey; about a cowhand at a ranch who is always drunk, but when an outlaw attempts to take over the ranch, he sobers up and wins everyone's respect, plus the love of the rancher's beautiful daughter) starring Jack Holt, Noah Beery Sr., Billie Dove, Alma Bennett, and William Scott. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
