Louis B. Mayer was a legendary producer from the 1910s to the 1950s. He founded his own production company in the 1910s, and later later merged with Goldwyn Pictures Corporation and Metro Pictures to form Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, which he headed from 1924 to 1951! He passed away in 1957 at the age of 73.
